Energetic Roadkill Event Automotive Photography | Fredericks Productions

David Fredericks August 24, 2021

On Saturday August 14th, at the M1 Concourse Dodge hosted Roadkill Nights. It included every car enthusiasts dream; drag races, thrill rides, dyno runs, an area to show your car off, and more. It was truly a great day for family and friends to enjoy.

The gates opened at 10am, I arrived around 11am when the drag racing began. Watching legal drag racing on Woodward was a new experience for me which I throughly enjoyed. Walking around the entire event was an experience in itself. You could not escape the smell of burning rubber (hopefully you like that). I was happy to see an abundance of cars being showed off, I got my fair share of photos. Most of my time was spent watching the thrill rides and photographing the cars in motion. Finally I’ll share my favorite part, as you leave the event you could still hear all the engines roar even a mile away. A symphony I prefer over chirping birds. It’s an event that I hope continues to come back every year.

Gloomy M1 Concourse Automotive Photography | Fredericks Productions

David Fredericks July 28, 2021

The M1 Concourse has been my favorite place to go since I can remember. I can always count on seeing a nice car or meeting someone within the automotive industry. I have countless memories from going here and I hope to continue gaining more. Just recently I went to a Cars and Coffee event hosted by Golling.

It was a decent turnout considering the weather. It was pretty cloudy with a little bit of rain sprinkled in, but that gave me the perfect conditions for some beautiful photographs. The rain created a nice reflection on the ground that I utilized. I’m hoping to get some sunny days at M1 for Cars and Coffee.

Sunny Florida Landscape Photography | Fredericks Productions

David Fredericks March 31, 2021

Growing up, my family has always traveled down to Florida because of close relatives. The last two times i’ve gone i’ve brought my camera to photograph places we pass by. It's interesting viewing the same places I always have as a kid, but now with an artistic look.

I posted all the photos from my recent trip to Instagram. Head over there to @DavidFredie if you want to see them all and everything I had to say!

Peaceful Nashville Nature Photography | Fredericks Productions

David Fredericks January 30, 2020

Being a city lover, Nashville was definitely one to remember. I spent four days with my family exploring the area, starting with downtown.

Sadly I did not get any shots of downtown, but it still is burned into my memory. Neon signs all along the streets attached to bars and restaurants. Filled with people enjoying themselves while listening to the live bands, all country of course.

Two of the photos above are from an event we went to called “Glow Nashville.” It was at a minor league baseball stadium where they set up all sorts of Christmas lights.

It was a spectacular event and I loved all of the setups, they even had a sledding hill.

The rest of my time was spent exploring the city with my brother and finding cool locations to take photos. There were a lot of great spots and I didn’t have time to make it to all of them.

Beautiful New York City Nature Photography | Fredericks Productions

David Fredericks May 24, 2019

I traveled to New York in April 2019 for two reasons. Growing up New York was always portrayed as magnificent and a beautiful city. I always had an appreciation for it. Even with how much my family travels, we never made it over there. So it’s always been on my bucket list for places to go.

Around the beginning of April, I got an ad pop-up on my Instagram. It was for the New York International Car Show happening April 19th-28th. I saw this as my perfect opportunity to go. After inviting my brother and going through the expenses we were all set. We arrived on April 19th early in the morning.

The car show was spectacular along with the many people we met. My dream car was there, which is the second reason I had to go. I had never seen it in real life or taken my own photograph of it. Outside of the car show, New York City was everything I had been told. I loved every moment, it was loud, busy, and the buildings scraped the sky. I am already planning my next trip back.
